We got an invitation to perform. No details, no schedule — we’re just going to play. Classic 🫡
We arrive for the soundcheck, something suspiciously familiar is coming from the hall, and there’s a drum kit on stage with the logo “RW”... 🎵 Then the production manager walks up to us and casually drops: “You know Robbie Williams goes on right after you, right?”
We just stared at each other. Another tribute act? Or…? 🫢 No. The real one. The actual Robbie Williams 😳🤩
And just to be clear, he added: “And tomorrow we’ve got Gipsy Kings and Enrique Iglesias performing here.” 💪
This day started with a walk through the narrow alleys of Moroccan medinas, the smell of spices on every corner, and the rising sun over the minarets. And it ended on the stage of a former residence of Moroccan princes, where in a few minutes we’d be crossing paths backstage with one of the world’s biggest entertainers 🫵
