We got an invitation to perform. No details, no schedule — we’re just going to play. Classic 🫡

We arrive for the soundcheck, something suspiciously familiar is coming from the hall, and there’s a drum kit on stage with the logo “RW”... 🎵 Then the production manager walks up to us and casually drops: “You know Robbie Williams goes on right after you, right?”

We just stared at each other. Another tribute act? Or…? 🫢 No. The real one. The actual Robbie Williams 😳🤩

Returning to the Legend's Roots: Queenie to Conquer Sacred Montreux Again for Freddie Days 2026

When you say Montreux, every fan of rock history immediately pictures the silhouette of Freddie Mercury with his fist raised to the sky, quietly overlooking the calm waters of Lake Geneva. For us, for the band Queenie, this Swiss town means much more than just a tourist destination or a point on the map of musical history. It is a place with an indescribable genius loci, a place where the final chapters of one of the world's greatest musical legends were written, and a place to which we return with immense humility and pride. With joy that is hard to describe in words, we therefore announce that Queenie will perform again on September 4, 2026** at the prestigious annual fan gathering – at Freddie Days in Montreux, Switzerland, on the occasion of the celebrations of Freddie Mercury's 80th birthday.

20 years... 🎤🎶👨🏻 When we first stepped on stage in 2006, we never imagined that two decades later we’d be planning such a big anniversary celebration 🥳

Next year we’re celebrating 20 years of our career – and we didn’t want to keep you in suspense any longer. We’ve just launched ticket sales for our SUMMER TOUR and at the same time added more confirmed shows to our website where we’ll get to see each other.

This is still far from everything we’re arranging and preparing, but we felt it was only fair to give you the first wave of dates as soon as we could 🙌☺️ We’ll be revealing the rest step by step 🤫

Similar to last year, when we performed at the O2 arena at Český mejdan s Impulsem, this year we will perform at the Ostravar Aréna at Radio Čas's Megakoncert!

Summer 2025 will belong to Queen's music. After our two concerts in May at the O2 Arena, we are once again setting off on a summer tour of Czech and Moravian cities :)
