What we are talking about is the monitoring system, something very important for every musician, because thanks to it the performer hears what he and his colleagues are playing on the stage.

To make things clearer, the most common form of monitoring is "repro boxes" (so-called monitors) "lying" in front of each musician. The musician will tell what and how he wants to hear from the boxes (vocals, keys, guitars, ...), and the sound engineer will send that to him from the mixing console. But it is a very inconvenient solution because depending on the changing conditions between the sound test before the concert and the performance itself (e.g. the empty room on the sound check VS full hall during the performance, different volume of the sound output to the hall from the main boxes, room acoustics, etc...), the musician will hear something different during the show (in the worst case he will hear nothing) than what was prepared at the sound check. We eliminated a lot of that already two years ago when we started using the In-Ear system – listening system not using the monitors, but getting the sounds through a transmitter straight to the earphones. Still, we were not always satisfied, because the technique was not always sufficient to guarantee the sound transmission as we imagined (e.g. sound timbre, equalizer settings, etc..), BUT above all! we ALWAYS had to go through the same process, that is, to set the sound before every concert and rely on it to stay the same in our ears and will be good. If it does not, we have to explain the needed changes to the mixer through gestures. But this is now part of the past :-)

Thanks to the technology of the American company MOVEK, we can have absolute freedom and flexibility guaranteed, because each one of us will be able to regulate what sounds in his ears and how :-)

What's special for you in that? Happier musicians, greater accuracy and significantly shorter sound checks (just plug in, everything is already stored in the memory). Of course, the sound projected to the hall must always be set. This change of ours applies only to monitoring.

The **QUEEN RELIVED** project, which once again brings together a rock band, a symphonic orchestra, a gospel choir and modern concert technologies, will be presented on 19 February 2027 **at the new T Arena Brno**, on 23 February **at Ostravar Arena** and on 26 February once again **at the O2 Arena Prague**. The mega-show, which in previous years repeatedly **sold out the O2 Arena** and generated an extraordinary response from audiences and the media alike, has gradually become the flagship concert show of **Queenie** and one of the largest tribute projects of its kind in the world.

**Unique L-ISA sound technology transforms the concert experience**

For the sound design of last year's **Queenie** concert at the **O2 Arena**, the unique **L-ISA Hyperreal** sound technology was used, delivering an exceptionally realistic and immersive audio experience to the audience. In this configuration, the sound is not distributed merely in stereo mode, but through a **system of multiple speakers** suspended above the entire stage. As a result, individual instruments and vocals are placed at specific positions in space, so that every detail sounds natural, live and in perfect harmony with what is happening on stage. The **L-ISA** technology has so far been used at the **O2 Arena** only on rare occasions – in 2025 it was only its third deployment in the venue's history, despite being used by the world's biggest artists today. **Queenie** will repeat this unique sound experience in 2027 as well.

**From the Queen's birthday celebrations to concerts abroad**

**Queenie** have been significantly strengthening their international standing in recent years. The band performed at the official birthday celebrations of **Queen Elizabeth II**, toured across Europe, and this spring once again embarked on a tour of the Benelux countries. They recently also performed in Morocco, where they shared the stage with **Robbie Williams**. Frontman **Michael Kluch** was additionally nominated in 2019 for the **Thália Award** for his portrayal of **Freddie Mercury** in the musical **Freddie**.

**A concert show of world-class standards**

The **QUEEN RELIVED** project is therefore not a classic revival production. **QUEEN RELIVED PHILHARMONIC** combines an authentic interpretation of **Queen**'s music, the **Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava**, a gospel choir and the most advanced concert technologies of today. The band **Queenie** approaches the legacy of **Queen** with extraordinary musical care. The songs are performed in the same keys and arrangements as during the most celebrated era of **Freddie Mercury**. At the same time, the entire project makes use of **modern arena production** in a way that is truly exceptional in the tribute world. Lighting design, large-scale projections, pyrotechnic effects and spatial sound create a concert experience that does not merely attempt to evoke the past, but brings the music of **Queen** into the present.
