The show **Queen Relived by Queenie** had been prepared for a **world tour** since the beginning. Already during the creation stage, the production & organization team offered this show to the world's largest promoters and invited them to the concert at **O2 Arena**.

_"We are already in touch with some seriously interested parties who would like to see the show first, but a promoter from South Korea decided not to wait and proposed the purchase of 12 to 16 performances in 2022, with continuation of the series of concerts in the coming years. After several months of negotiations, last week we signed a contract with this promoter!_

_Currently, we know that the concerts will take place in large halls in South Korea with regional overlap and will have the format of major international stars‘ shows. Thus they will be consistent with the concept which we will present at the premiere at O2 Arena in Prague. The dates and exact locations will be confirmed later. Due to the impact of the coronavirus crisis, the promoter in South Korea does not yet know whether it will be possible to start the tour already in spring or in autumn 2022. Meanwhile, negotiations with interested prominent promoters from Europe and other regions are underway too,“_ shared the executive producer of the project Martin Zoubek.

_"We are very much looking forward to enjoying the show at **O2 Arena** with our fans, as despite being constantly involved in all the preparations, even we still can't fully imagine what the audience will experience there in September and December. It will be a **unique show with an incredible stage, a huge screen and the light, audiovisual and pyrotechnic effects of the Hollywood format**,“_ says the frontman of the band QUEENIE **Michael Kluch** happily.

The first two concerts (rescheduled for September) were **sold out** within a quarter of a year and, as stated by **O2 Arena**, QUEENIE is the first Czech performer to sell them out **to the very last available ticket**.

The scene itself amazes even with the numbers alone. The dimensions of the stage are: **21 meters in height, 55 meters in length and 33 meters at its widest point**. The equipment and pre-made parts of the stage and decorations will be transported by **28 trucks**. During the first time, it will take over **40 hours** to build the platform, but at the following concerts everything should be put together in less than a day. The author of the whole construction is the show designer **Martin Hruška**, who is one of the twenty most sought-after show designers in the world. The light effects of the entire spectacular show are responsibility of the light designer **Lukáš Patzenhauer**, who is already now with Queenie on their summer tour.

The author of the band's costumes for this project is the famous costume designer **Roman Šolc**.

More than **twenty** people and about **ten** different suppliers with **hundreds** of employees work together to prepare and create the show. The installation and uninstallation of the stage alone and work during the concerts will involve more than **300 other people of various professions**.

The idea of brewing **Queenie beer** was born back in 2016 in the mind of the owner of the [Panaczech brewery](https://www.facebook.com/pivovarpanaczech), **Mr. Ondřej Vrkoč**, when he attended the band's concert at the Krkonoše Beer Festival in Vrchlabí.

_"How about we take our and English malts, hops and yeasts, choose the best of what both our countries offer and create a perfect symbiosis for a unique taste experience?"_

Oh, good old England. We have been looking at its distant shores for centuries, and yet we hardly realize how much we actually have in common. We laugh at quite similar things, we make fun of religion, we are close in our music tastes and culture in general, and especially: both our nations are, quite unsurprisingly, considered beer-loving nations. Could that perhaps be an example of the imaginary communicating vessels?

The idea of uniting what makes our beer good with what our fellow beer enthusiasts on the other side of the channel enjoy has **matured over several years**. During this time, the vision of the recipe has been becoming increasingly clear. The core part, based on **the English types of beer**, would be enriched with the **Czech tradition of beer brewing** and **the heart of the music itself**, to make it feel as if the **legendary rhythms** which pulsated across the world stadiums were **bubbling on the tongue**.

Based on discussions with the band, the head brewmaster of **the Panaczech brewery**, **Mr. David Nedoma**, created the recipe for **Queenie beer**, which includes factors from both England and the Czech Republic so as to perfectly capture, figuratively saying, the flavour scene of the English legend's music as performed by our Czech band.

The result thereof is our **ten-degree beer** with Pilsner yeast, Žatec hops, English malts and a royal golden color.

**In short, good old England spiced up with good old Czechia!**

This spring was complicated due to the emergency situation, but life is returning to normal and also we are going back to the stages.

Right from the 5th of July we will perform in Turnov, on the 15th of July we will start a successful tour from the last year "**Under the open sky**", symbolically on the last venue of the last year's tour in Jindřichův Hradec.

On the 17th of July, we will meet you at the **Prague Exhibition Grounds** in the beautiful **Lucerna Music Bar Open Air** complex, where we plan to try some songs planned for the [QUEEN RELIVED](https://www.queenrelived.com/) concerts at the **O2 arena**. Come test them with us, we are interested in your feedback! :-)

On tje 20th of July we will perform in Český Krumlov and on the 31st of July in Mikulov will start the month on the tour "**Under the open sky**".

In this year's tour, in addition to music, we will also bring you our "**The Miracle stage**", the stage with scenery inspired by the clip **The Miracle** of the band **Queen**. It will be the first time that we will present this **unique stage** to a wider audience outside Brno, where we exclusively showed it in the SONO music club.

As the new show [QUEEN RELIVED](https://queenrelived.cz) is getting ready to take place at **O2 arena**, we are also presenting **the new Queenie band‘s logo**.

We approached one of the best graphic designers in the Czech Republic, **Marek Motalík** ([marekmotalik.com](https://marekmotalik.com)), with the request to create us a **unique logo** that the fans could associate with our band.

In order for our logo to have the proper „royal“ spirit, we were looking for references which would be characteristic of our country and which would travel the world with us. We had a lot of ideas and it took us a while to put everything together according to our visions.

We set ourselves the task of bringing together the history of the Czech lands, local myths, culture and national symbols. That‘s why our logo features i.a. the legendary **bird Noh (Roc)** in reference to Alois Jirásek and in particular to the legend of Bruncvík, **the double-tailed Czech lion**, **linden leaves** and **angels** typical of the Czech Baroque. However, it does not lack **the Red Special** or **the legendary mic „stick“** either.

We are thrilled about the logo, **Marek Motalík** is a genius! We hope you will be as happy about it as we are.

_Unfortunately, in view of the government's decision prohibiting all events until further notice, our concerts cannot happen on the original scheduled dates of May 15 and 16, 2020. Moreover, our foreign suppliers cannot deliver their technologies for the rehearsals, without which the show cannot be prepared now. The decision to change the dates of our concerts is therefore the only possible solution. Queen Relived 2020 by Queenie will take place on September 11 and 12, 2020. All previously purchased tickets remain valid for the new dates and do not need to be replaced – the tickets for Friday, May 15, 2020, will now be valid for Friday, September 11, 2020, and the tickets for Saturday, May 16, 2020, will apply for Saturday, September 12, 2020, respectively. The date of our concert on December 21, 2020 remains unchanged._

Both May dates of our concerts in **O2 arena Prague** are hopelessly **sold out**, so we decided to add a **third term**!

The first appropriate date is in December, so we will repeat **[QUEEN RELIVED](https://www.queenrelived.com/) by Queenie** on December 21, 2020, again in one of the largest European arenas - **O2 arena**.

In addition to the originally announced concert on **May 16**, **Queenie** will perform at Prague's **O2 arena** also on **May 17, 2025**.

The pair of concerts promise an exceptional musical and visual experience that will push the boundaries of the genre. The combination of **Queenie** with [Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava](https://www.jfo.cz/orchestr/profil-orchestru/) under the baton of conductor **Jan Kučera** will create a unique symphony of emotions. The audience can look forward to the timeless hits of **Queen** in a perfect harmony of rock energy and classical musical elegance.

"_Two consecutive nights on the most prestigious stage in the Czech Republic? This is again a dream come true, but at the same time a huge commitment to our fans. The combination of Queenie and the Philharmonic will offer something that is really unusual in our scene. We will have over 100 musicians on stage, so I believe that both concerts will be an unforgettable experience for the audience,_" says frontman **Michael Kluch**.

The recent premiere of the documentary "[ROAD TO THE STAGE](https://youtu.be/FNNg0VUwJic)" showcased the effort and passion behind **Queenie**'s successful concerts. The film showcased not only **QUEEN RELIVED as breathtaking show at the O2 arena**, but also the hard work, dedication and perfectionism that the band is known for.

"_We don't do anything by halves. The audience deserves a 100% show - both musically and visually. That's why we always go to the limit,_" adds **Michael Kluch**.
